Focusing on ensuring national energy security and services, ensuring the realization of the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutralization, focusing on accelerating the construction of national "three bases and one channel", our region has supplemented the weaknesses of energy infrastructure, promoted the green and low-carbon transformation of energy, further optimized the energy structure of the whole region, and continuously enhanced the guarantee capacity of energy supply.

       The reporter learned from the development and Reform Commission of the autonomous region that from January to August, the energy output of the region increased rapidly, the energy supply and demand was generally stable, and the raw coal output was 185.902 million tons, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year; Crude oil output was 1992.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.1%; The output of natural gas was 25.92 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%; The power generation was 303.5 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 16.5%; The investment in key energy projects in the autonomous region was 55.35 billion yuan, accounting for 71.1% of the annual investment plan.

       This year, our district will further strengthen and improve the power support system. The 750 kV power transmission and transformation projects such as Kuqa Aksu Bachu loop II and Turpan Bazhou Kuqa loop II have been completed, the export capacity of Zhundong East China (Southern Anhui) ± 1100 kV HVDC transmission project has been successfully increased to 9 million KW, and the 750 kV power transmission and transformation projects such as Shache Hotan loop II have been actively promoted.

       The construction of a new power system with new energy as the main body was accelerated. We will continue to promote the construction of new energy bases of 10 million kW in Hami and 1 million kW in Zhundong, accelerate the construction of 1.2 million KW pumped storage power stations in Fukang and 1.2 million kW in Hami, and incorporate the pumped storage power stations such as fukangdong and aktao into the national medium and long term development plan for pumped storage (2021-2035). By the end of August, the installed capacity of clean energy in our region had reached 44.479 million KW, accounting for 42.3% of the total installed capacity of the region.。

       The oil and gas storage and transportation capacity has been steadily improved. Focusing on increasing oil and gas reserves and production, our region has strengthened oil and gas exploration and development in Junggar, Tarim and Turpan Hami basins, and implemented a seven-year action plan to vigorously improve oil and gas exploration and development. Realize the newly started construction of Wenxi I reservoir of Wenjisang gas storage group and darongda production phase II of Hutubi gas storage, and further improve the oil and gas transmission and storage capacity. Continue to promote the construction of local emergency gas storage capacity, and implement the gas storage capacity through construction, leasing, purchase and other means.

       At the same time, adhere to the people-centered development idea, continue to increase investment in energy to benefit the people, and actively promote the implementation of the transformation task of 287000 coal to electricity households in southern Xinjiang in 2021. At present, 94% and 71.7% of the household projects and supporting power grids have been completed respectively. Strive for the state to issue an investment plan of RMB 1 billion in the central budget of the rural power network consolidation and upgrading project in our region in 2021, benefiting 25 counties (cities) in four prefectures of Kashgar region, Hotan region, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture and Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture. At present, an investment of RMB 650 million has been completed.
